Purpose of the Website

There are many independent inventors scattered across the U.S. that have a new product or invention, and several inventor organizations that have websites which feature new inventions. However, few manufacturers, retail store buyers, product scouts, investors, direct response television companies, and other potential licensees that are looking for new products attend regional or local inventors' shows or take the time to visit individual websites because there may only be one or two products in their particular field of interest at any one location.

Our goal is to join independent inventors and various inventor organizations together to provide an online website where buyers can review a very large number of new products and inventions in their particular field at one location.

OTHER PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS Each of the other participating organizations also provide webpages and other services for inventors, and you can contact them for placing a webpage on their site as an alternative to (or in addition to) having a webpage on our site.
HOUSTON INVENTORS ASSOCIATION WEBPAGE If you already have a website for your product, we will add a link to your website at no charge… just email us your website address.

If you would like for us to create a simple webpage featuring your product on the Houston Inventors Association website, the annual cost is $35 for HIA members, or $50 for non-members (paid in advance). Your webpage will be similar to those we have listed HERE (click on BIGFOOT or CONDIMENT CADDY for examples). The website address of your webpage will be (www.inventors.org/yourname). After your webpage is online, all business transactions are strictly between you and the buyer.

You will need to supply us with suitable photos or artwork, a written description of your product (not to exceed 350 words), and personal contact information. If you have an issued patent but do not have photos or artwork, send us your patent number, and we will use a patent drawing and the abstract from your published patent.
